Copy+Paste from the FB page but I figured I'd share here as well. Minor spoilers follow.
Went through prologue without as loss and no sever injuries but took a beating. Set up our settlement and divided the newly created gear. Being the host and most confident in my gaming abilities I opted to not get a weapon and take the armor instead and keep my founding stone (one of two remaining from the prologue). Figured I wanted to try fist and tooth anyway because why not?
Hunting events were nothing special except one guy lost his leg but he walked it off... Get it? Anyway we get to the lion who do to another hunt even starts in his ground fighting mood. So i figure since we get the first move I'll throw my founding stone and knock him out of the mood and try to lure him to my group hiding in the tall grasses nearby.
Throw my stone, get the Straining Neck Hit Location. Don't read it other than roll 1d10 on crit. Figure it's probably a chance to nab resources or something. Lantern Ten comes up, SWEET! Read the table on the card....killed the lion in one shot, the FIRST hit attempt, by throwing my founding stone in our first actual hunt....
I will never have a more epic moment in this game. I love this game.

That's really cool, would like to have an event like that too. Although only losing one survivor on the butcher should make us very lucky too

Hindsight being 20-20 it made us super cocky and we paid for it... Hard. But live and learn am I right? (or in this case wipe out an entire settlement of people and hope RNJesus is on your side next time)

Yeah I can see that. Well the game is ready for people who think they have it beat. Man oh man it is an uphill struggle all the way through and I love it. Not just me, my entire group loves it. Although I think we'll run into the same problem, getting cocky untill we meet the kingsmen.
